Brahui, means the "Mountain Dweller". It is one of the ancient languages of Asia, spoken by about 9 million people in Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. With its history connecting to an existence of 7000 years old, Brahui is facing its challenging days currently. The language is slowly being forgotten, the cutlure within it dying. IBC 2015 is organized to not only rescue the language but the traditions, stories and history surrounding it.
